On every 6th day of the Islamic lunar calendar, believers congregate at Ajmer Sharif Dargah for the monthly Chatti Dua, a unique prayer made in respect of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz. Taking place close to Begami Dalan in Ahata-e-Noor at around 8:30 AM, the event starts with recitation of the Quran, then proceeds with the Shijra, Salam, and ends with Fateha. This monthly ritual is an occasion for seeking peace, blessings, and spiritual advice. Others who cannot make it in person can send Nazar-o-Niaz to be incorporated into the prayers. A Langar is also provided, sharing the message of love and oneness.
