I didn't set out to buy a sofa bed at first, honestly. I just needed a decent sofa that wouldn't dominate my living room, but once friends started staying over and my space had to work harder, that mindset changed pretty quickly. What surprised me was how much difference the right design makes, because a good sofa bed doesn't feel like a backup plan, it feels like something you actually want to use every day.
